Hostage Situations

So I had a very interesting patient situation today. The details of which I can't place on the internet but if you want to know you'd have to call me. But anyway the whole situation turned messy but was improved when my attending very calmly talked to the the patient's parent(s). So in watching and interacting in the whole situation I've realized that if I was ever in a hostage situation with no police officers around, or someone needs to be talked down off a high place I'd recruit a pediatrician.
