Doctor's Day

So yesterday was my first Doctor's Day as a doctor. It was an interesting day. The hospital threw this gourmet breakfast that was really good. We got these gifts that was a cell phone desk holder (an interesting concept) weird considering doctor's don't typically have desks they sit at all day. Clearly someone in administration picked this option out. Medical Education got us these faux leather bags. It was more practical than the cell phone holder. I guess it could be a new call bag or something. Peds being the sappy people we are...the nurses made us this banner and the office managers sent us this egreeting card. That was actually the best part of my doctor's day. Other than that the day honestly not so much fun. Not so great on the Heme/Onc Service. Oh well Better luck next year.
